Selling your staging services is easier than you think.
I don't know about you, but I didn't have a clue how much sales and marketing would be involved in starting and growing my real estate staging business.
I honestly thought the minute I told a Realtor that I was a Stager, they would feel like their prayers were answered and they would hire me instantly and often!
Wow, was I wrong.
And I spent a lot of time feeling frustrated and confused by this.
I went days, weeks and months with a super quiet calendar.
And I was frankly just annoyed at the whole resistance to hiring me.
But as I began to gain slow, and I mean sllllllllllllooooowwww, traction I had a huge epiphany.
I had been marketing based on what I do as a Stager, not the problems I solve as a Stager.
Not that there's anything wrong with it but “helping sellers sell faster and make more money” isn't super effective.
