Buy This, Not That: TV Stands

For those of you who read this blog, you know I am a chipper, enthusiastic sort.  And, in my staging, I love to work with what my clients already own as much as possible.

I don’t like to ever go negative unless I feel it in service to you all.  So, in the spirit of service, I want to start to banish certain items from your homes.  Not because I find them repulsive but more because their function is limited and they can contribute to a feeling of discontent in a space.  Yes, home decor can actually make you feel out of sorts in a space. It is incredibly challenging to hide all of those cords for listing photos too and we really just can’t have them in the photos because of the distraction they cause.  If you have one and it isn’t an option to change it out, then I recommend cable containment gadgets that you can find at any office supply store and using electrical tape to tape them to the back legs of the stand.  But, if you can dodge this bullet, other great tv stand alternatives are…
